Welcome to the nativity scene museum in Dornbirn
Immerse yourself in the international world of nativity scenes and marvel at over 110 nativity scene models from many nations around the world. The museum is housed in a 150-year-old horse stable, which has been converted into a real gem with 400m² of exhibition space.

What you can expect from us
On the first floor, you will find one of the highlights of our collection: a 23-metre-long nativity scene depicting 14 stations from the life of Jesus. Another gem awaits you on the upper floor: the crib mountain, which was built by the famous Italian crib maker Antonio Pigozzi in 2015.

Are you planning a club or company trip and would like to visit our museum outside of opening hours? We will open our doors especially for you by arrangement and will be happy to put together a suitable combined package for you. We are also happy to organize interesting packages and experiences for bus- tour- or cultural-tour-service-providers, who want to visit our beautiful museum in Dornbirn.

There is free parking for buses and cars right next to our museum.
Take the highway exit “Dornbirn West” and follow the “Lustenauer Straße” until you reach the “Hotel Krone”. Cross the junction straight ahead in the direction of “Hintere Achmühler Straße” until you reach the Dornbirn municipal depot. Now turn right onto “Gütlestraße” and follow this road until you reach “Gasthaus Gütle”. You will find the Nativity Scene Museum on the opposite side of the road.
